Khafayah

Khafayah is a person-centred counsellor, trauma-informed practitioner and Islamic counsellor. She is the founder of Ilubirin.

Why Ilubirin

Across her work, one sentence has kept returning — quietly, in different rooms, from different women:

“I do not feel like myself any more.”

Ilubirin exists for that recurring need. It is a faith-integrated, trauma-informed space where Muslim women can gently reconnect with the feelings, needs, values, voice and faith that survival may have made difficult to hear — without being rushed, and without being told to stay or to leave.
